Antinociceptive Effects of Baclofen

Abstract

This review article describes the antinociceptive effects of baclofen, specific GABAB receptor agonist Baclofen is commonly used in clinical practice for the treatment of musculoskeletal spasticity. Baclofen proves also the analgesic effects that can be used for the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia, central neuropathic pain, inflammatory pain postoperative pain and headache.
