Abstract
The article deals with unconventional/alternative medicine in the context of current society and modern medicine of the 90's. It presents original results of an empirical survey focused on the use of non-conventional methods in case of health complaints and its evaluation.
Unconventional treatment is mostly used as a complementary concurrent therapy usually for an enhancement of the healing effect, sometimes also in case when standard medicine fails to help.
