New type of anaesthesia with sevofluran improves surgical and post-surgical course of burns treatment

Abstrakt

Sevoflurane has been tested in adult and paediatric burned patients. Its advantages compared with other type of anaesthetics are easy induction and maintenance of anaesthesia, better recovery and earlier oral intake which provides better energetic balance as tested by measurements of daily energetic income.
