Abstract
Experimental animal models of IBD allow study of possible etiologic agens,interactions among different components and identification of immunologic processes and genetic susceptibility in ways which are not possible in humans.Models of IBD by chemical,imunological nad genetic methods are mentioned and spontaneous disease as well.
