Abstract

Defects of the skin cover are healed either per primam or per secundam by inflammatory reaction. Every opened wound heals by the scar.

If healing is complicated by infection, resulted scars are obviously hypertrophic and ugly. Small defects heals spontaneously, extensive are treated by using of dermo-epidermal autografts.

Very problematic are defects after decubituses.
