Abstract
The term hormonal replacement therapy /HRT/ was frequently discussed both in scientific and public society, in the last years. This book presents perfectly well definition of menopause and complex review about hormonal changes in this part of life.
Single chapters are concern in subjective and objective symptoms, give rational view on management before starting therapy HRT and during its continuation. Separate part of book concerns in risk of HRT and possible alternative therapy.
In the own chapter there is a detailed analysis of HRT use in the therapy of oncology patients. The book also presents the problems of men menopause, estrogen deficit syndrom and contraception in menopause.
