Abstract
The article reviews actual methods of pain assessment. Subjective methods (description, numerical rating scale and visual analog scale) are described together with objective ones (electrophysiology, biochemical and physical parameters).
Procedure of pain evaluative palpation, and behavioral alterations are treated.
