Abstract

The purpose of the study was to test predictive potential of the entrance examination of (a) academic performance operationalized as a grade-point-average; (b) academic success defined as finishing the tenth semester of medical studies. The multivariate and logistic linear regression analyses conducted on the data from 260 students brought satisfactory support for the assumption of the entrance examination procedure as the predictor of the academic performance and success during the five years of study.
