Abstract
Cervicography is a continuing in development of colposcopy. Subjective colposcopic examination has been replaced by objective cervicographic evaluation which allows also permanent documentation.
As a consequence of rapid technologic development the traditional cervicography, developed 20 years ago, has been replaced by the digital cervicography. One of its advantages is a possiblity to evaluate the quality of the picture and its simple storage.
Digital cervicography, as a method complementary to cytology, may be - along with the screening of cervical carcinoma - a sensitive method with acceptable price
