Abstract

The aim of this study was to assess myocardial perfusion as a sign of viability using a new, widely available echocardiographic method in patients after first MI and to study the relation of preserved perfusion to myocardial contractile function and Q-wave formation on electrocardiogram (ECG).In patients after MI, the extent of Q wave formation could be a helpful predictor of the amount of preserved myocardial perfusion
