A possibility of the dentinal pain control by the application of dentine adhesives

Publication at Third Faculty of Medicine |

Abstract

Morphological studies demonstrated good sealing of dentinal tubules by dentine adhesives with a well-formed hybride layer. The clinical testing of evoked pain confirmed its full suppression in 80% and significant reduction in 10% of cases.

The study suggests that dentinal adhesives may be effective in pain control.
