Abstract
Monograph brings the actual aspect to the problems of acute pancreatitis from etiology, epidemiology, symptomology to pathogenesis, classification, diagnosis and therapy. These problems are permanent actual because of acute pancreatitis incidence has permanent increased tendency.
In the first part of monograph the present problems of acute pancreatitis are discussed, in the second part the own collection of patient with diagnosis of acute pancreatitis treated from 1990 to 2005 in our institution is presented
