The comparison of platelet activity between patients with patent vs. occluded coronary artery bypass grafts

Abstrakt

Platelet activity was measured between patients with at least one occluded bypass graft and patients with all patent bypass grafts at one year coronary angiography after coronary artery bypass surgery. There was found no statistical difference in the activity of platelets between these two groups of patients.

Platelets seem not to play the pivotal role in the pathogenesis of bypass graft occlusion
