Practical education of endoscopic methods in Educational center for anatomy and endoscopy of Department of Anatomy, 3rd Medical Faculty - can we go further?
Abstract
In the years 2000-2008 we have created using grant support on the Department of Anatomy 3rd Medical Faculty in Prague educational center for endoscopic and miniinvasive medicine. We have established new method of fixation enabling repeated usage of fixated bodies to imitate surgical procedures.
We have built operation room, dissection tract was connected with audio-video network with wireless internet, graphical studio was equiped for creation of our own educational materials. Web page enables education by means of e-learning.
The part of dissection trainings of medical students are demonstrations of artroscopy of small and large joints, laparoscopy, bronchoscopy and gastroscopy. At the level of post-graduate education we offer standardly educational courses for medical doctors, who can become familiar with techniques and instrumentarias of wide range, endoscopy and miniinvasive procedures on prepared specimen
