Abstract
3505 cases of a professional health impairment in women, i. e. occupational diseases or endagered of occupational diseases, were reported in the Czech Republic in 2001-2006. Women cover 40 % of reported professional impairments in above mentioned years even though they rarely work in fields with the high occurrence of occupational diseases (e. g. minig, building industry, metallurgy).
The occurrence of reported professional diseases (occupational diseases and endagered occupational diseases) is presented according to the place of reporting of a professional health impairment, chapters and items of the list of occupational diseases, field classification of economic activities and diagnoses according to the international classification of diseases.
