The assesment of changes of function and remodelation of left atriua after successful endoscopic microwave epicardil pulmonary vein isolation. Pilot study

Abstract

The aim of the study was to assess the changes of volume and function of left atrium in patients with atrial fibrillation before and after the ablationof the arrhythmia. The assesment was done by TDI.

We demonstrated, the volumes of left ventricle decreased, but the function did not change in patients after successful ablation of atrial fibrillation
