Treatment guidelines of mentale disorders: guidelines of the Czech Neuropsychopharmacological Society
Abstract
The purpose of this book has been to establish the treatment guidelines of psychiatric disorders of the Czech Neuropsychopharmacological Society. The structure is organized according to International classification of mental disorders,10th revision.
The introduction deals with patient case formulation from psychiatric and psychological point of view. The structure of all diagnostical categories is the same: etiopatogenesis, epidemiology, diagnostic process, differential diagnosis, course of illness and therapy.
The treatment recommendations are set according to the evidence-based medicine. Proportional attention is given to pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy and biological therapies.
At the end of every chapter there is a tree of therapy algorithm based on double blind studies and metaanalyses (red), consensus of experts (blue), open studies (green), case reports and empiric experiences (plain)
