Abstract

Vegetative, vasomotor and psychosomatic problems appear in women at the age of 40 to 50 years. Symptoms are often associated with menstruation disorders, with irregular or heavy cycles, and different pathologies of endometrium may be diagnosed.

Women must be noted that, despite decreased ovarian function, possibility of pregnancy cannot be completely excluded.
