EEG source analysis using standardized electromagnetic tomography (sLORETA) in panic disorder

Publication at Central Library of Charles University |
2009

Abstract

Studies in panic patients reported higher relative right frontal EEG activity compared with healthy controls as well EEG spectral abnormalities. However, EEG source localization studies that would indicate where is the abnormal EEG activity generated are missing in panic disorder.

These findings indicate right frontal hyperactivation in patients with panic disorder.
