Abstract

Nosocomial, intra-abdominal infections are extremely serius conditions, considering possibilities for their early diagnosis, as well as for their effective therapy. Tygecycline is among the novel wide-spectrum antibiotics affecting multiresistant bacteria, which are being introduced in clinical practice.
