An evaluation of white matter integrity of corpus callosum in vivo in patients with Alzheimer?s disease using diffusion tensor imaging

Abstract

The aim of our study was to assess the integrity of white matter in vivo in the corpus callosum in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) compared to control subjects using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). All subjects underwent Mini Mental State Examination test (MMSE) and MRI examination on a 3T MR scanner, Siemens Trio.
