Abstract

Uterine fibroids are a significant health and economic problem for many women in the context of high and increasing frequency of this disease in the population. Memoirs of a comprehensive view on this issue and provides new diagnostic and therapeutic methods that fundamentally changes the previous conventional wisdom algorithm used in clinical practice.

Given that the disease affects uterine fibroids at least 30-40% of women of reproductive age, it is the most frequent problems that everyone deals with a gynecologist who is associated with high economic costs. The book is divided into 4 basic parts: a general part (epidemiology, causality, anatomy, histopathology, imaging methods, relationship to fertility), and conservative medical management, surgical treatment and radiological treatment.
