Abstract

Aim of our study was to describe proliferation and diferentiation of the cells in the chickem pancreas during development. We compared data obtained by flow cytometry with published data.

Quantitative cell cycle analysis revealed maximal proliferation during 11 day, cells in G M phase comprised approximately 6,3%. The highest density of integrins in ductal cells was detected during ED 9, later decreased.
