Abstract
The study is focused on the description of nutrition status of people in the institutional social care in Prague and a middle-sized town outside of the Prague region.Anamnestic data about health state, anthropogenic marks of malnutrition, biochemical and hematological indicators and specific nutrition anamnesis are determined. Seven trace elements and toxic metals (Cu, Se, Zn, Mn, Cd, Hg, Pb) are monitored in a selected group of examined people.
