Measuring of platelet activity and effi cacy of antiplatelet therapy

Abstract

The aim of this paper is an overview of current options for measuring platelet activity and efficacy of antiplatelet therapy. The second part of the paper offers examples based on the authors' own experience.

Particular attention is given to measurement of the effect of ADP antagonists.
