Abstract
The paper is an overview of various aspects of tachycardia-induced cardiomyopathy, examining its controversial history but, primarily, current concepts regarding its etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis, and therapy. Special emphasis is placed on issues related to the diff erential diagnosis of this most particular clinical entity whose perception has changed substantially in recent years.
