Abstract
This study is based on information in a registry including data of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and hospitalized in our heart center together with another seven heart centers in the Czech Republic and abroad. The paper is the first to present part of the results of an analysis of data obtained from the patients.
Using a group of patients with AMI, we have determined the current incidence of bundle branch block in this subpopulation. Patients' characteristics and mortality including in-hospital course and mortality were compared.
