Abstract

This article summarized current trends in non-invasive prenatal diagnosis and possibilities to use extracellular nucleic acids in maternal circulation for fetal sex and RHD and RHCE genotype determination. These informations are integrated into routine concerning management of pregnancies at risk of X-linked disorders, congenital adrenal hyperplasia and haemolytic disease of the newborn.
