Abstract
The book presents a comprehensive and modern view on the treatment of patients with thermal, electrical, chemical and radiation injuries. The book has a clear summary of all aspects of medicine and burns clear and precise definition of complex problems, all findings are supported by many examples from the rich experience of the authors.
An important part of the book are chapters devoted to trauma, which takes into account the ethical aspects of treatment. The authors discuss the extent and type of necessary care, mental stress and burn prevention and rehabilitation of mental patients.
As a special supplement is added a few videos demonstrating the basic surgical operations in treating burn patients.
