Vaginal delivery after previous cesarean section

Abstract

Uterine rupture is a serious complication of vaginal delivery after previous cesarean section. It is a rare, hardly predictable complication but it has potentially serious consequences for fetus and mother.

The highest risk is associated with an unsuccessful trial of labor. Careful choice of delivery way is the essential part of prenatal care.
