Abstract

Seniors from Prague and one area out of Prague were included to the study. One part of the study was the biomonitoring of selected toxic and benefit elements in the blood and comparison of results with those from the main Czech biomonitoring system.

Blood lead levels in seniors were almost the same as in the Czech biomonitoring, whereas the bloood mercury level was about twice as lower. Also selenium was lower than in the Czech biomonitoring system.

The whole analysis will be finished in 2011
