Abstract

Rasilez HCT combines two antihypertensive drugs for the effective blood pressure control in the patients with arterial hypertension. This combination is useful in subjects with resistant hypertension.

Resistant hypertension is defined as a failure of reaching target blood pressure with use of triple drug combination including diuretic. The prevalence of resistant hypertension in a high blood pressure population is estimated to at least 30 %.

The treatment of the resistant hypertension should be performed by specialists in internal medicine, cardiology or nephrology. Two case reports document the efficacy of fixed drug combination Rasilez HCT in subjects with a complicated resistant hypertension.
