Treatment of diabetes mellitus manefestated during the treatment with corticosteroids

Abstract

The case describes a manifestation of diabetes mellitus during the treatment of autoimmune hemolitic anemia with corticosteroids in a patient with known glucose tolerance impairment. The change of insulinotherapy and oral antidiabetic drugs dosing depending on the dose oc corticosteroids are described.
