Abstract

Inflammatory linear veruccous epidermal nevus (ILVEN) was first described in the literature in year 1971. In most of the cases it appears during early childhood, very rare during puberty or later.

Usually is unilateral with pruritis and we find it in the lower extremities or at the area of thigh and can be along Blaschko lines. In the differential diagnosis we think of non-inflammatory epidermal nevi, linear psoriasis or lichen stratus.

We describe the case of a 45 year old male patient who came to our outpatient department for a linear lesion on his right lower extremity lasting over 15 years. Taking in account his anamnesis, clinical and histological picture we established the diagnosis of ILVEN
