Sterilized liquid nutritionally defined product with enhanced natural whey protein content and decreased lactose content

Abstract

Technical solution is related to sterilized liquid enteral feeeding prepared from adapted milk base by addition of whey protein concentrate and natrium caseinate up to 5 % whey proteins. The amount of lactose is decreased to < 1 %.

The product has high energetic density 2 kcal/ml, milkfat is replaced from 1-100 % with rapeseed oil or another plant oil, respectively with their combination. Carbohydrates are added mostly in maltodextrins form.

The product has balanced rate of nutrients and contains all necessary vitamins and elements.The enhanced amount of essential aminoacids in whey proteins maintains formation of muscles and their good physical condition. Due to composition and decreased amount of lactose is product suitable for seniors and persons suffering from lactose intolerance.
