Abstract
2-8 % of melanoma cases are amelanotic melanomas and very often can cause diagnostic problems even to the most experienced dermatoscopists because its clinical picture can be very simile to inflammatory dermatoses, hypopigmented nevi, solar or seboroic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, spinalioma, hemangioma or pyogennic granuloma. Up to 50% of cases can be diagnosted only due to clinical progression.
We show the case of a 25 year old female patient who visited our department because of growing spot on her chest which without the help of dermoscopy would be extremely difficult to think of the diagnosis of amelanotic melanoma
