Abstract
The monograph provides a comprehensive view of the treatment of pediatric fractures of musculoskeletal upper limb, including the hand and lower extremities, including the feet , pelvis, complete with co-authors also injuries to the head, skull base fractures of the facial skeleton and spinal injuries. The text is divided into two parts.
The general part is the introduction describes the historical development of pediatric traumatology and there are also differences defined pediatric fractures compared to adults. The next chapter is a treatise on growing bone , the following texts are then dealing with epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis and therapy foundations of children's fractures.
Detailed medical sheet is then clarified in a special monograph in the treatment of individual sites. Description fractures in a special section of the book by the anatomical landscape is exhaustive, and are connected luxation joint and soft knee injury.
The chapters on fractures of the upper extremities, pelvis and lower limbs chapter is supplemented specialists. This is a major revision.
