Insufficient attention paid to the relation between chronic pain and depression in elderly patients leads to a worsening of their quality of life. We compared the incidence of depression in a polymorbid population of senior citizens in haemodialysis centres, with the incidence of depresion in non dialyzed in a standard department of internal medicine
