Origen's reinterpretation of the platonic eschatological conception: the eschatology as an university

Abstract

The problem of Origen's eschatology in his major work De principiis is compared with Plutarch's eschatological myth in his work De facie. Origen's conception of the eschatological PAIDEIA is stressed as very extraordinary motive in the context of platonic tradition.
