Initiation of polymerization of phenylacetylene with WOCl4 and WCl6 single-component metathesis catalysts

Abstract

Reaction of PhA with metathesis catalysts WOCl4 and WCl6 at low monomer-to-catalyst mole ratio (3:1) has been studied aimed at revealing of the path of catalysts transformation into active species.
