The efficiency of the mercaptoacetate spacer in systems with the laser-ablated colloid was tested by time evolution of the SERRS spectra of a cationic porphyrin. The efficiency depends on both the spacer and the porphyrin concentrations. dipole moment wih density is found in the case of molecules with larger value of polarizability.
However, with increasing non-sphericity of molecules the the density effect decreases.
