Abstract

Sequence-stratigraphic analysis of the Dakota Formation in southern Utah brought new insights into the evolution of fluvial, paralic, and shallow-marine depositional systems during the initial phase of foreland basin filling and into the record of interpay between high-frequency eustatic fluctuations and tectonic subsidence.
