The metamorphic evolution of carbonate-bearing eclogites from the Saxothuringian Zone (Czech Republic).

Abstrakt

Comparisons between compositions of experimentally crystallized garnet-carbonate pairs and those in the natural assemblages suggest that the eclogites achieved peak metamorphic pressure at 25 kbar at temperatures of 650-750°C.
