Abstract
In connection with cytotoxic activity of some lupane triterpenoids a series of pivaloyloxymethyl esters of lupane keto acids was prepared. The reaction of diazomethane with 18-lupene and 18,19-secolupane alpha-diketones led to E-homolupane enolethers andepoxides.
