Abstract
Cytochromes P450 belong to the most significant enzymes involved in the metabolism of many xenobiotics (drugs, food additives, environmental pollutants). This review is focused mainly on significance of individual cytochromes P450 in the reactions that lad to activation of protoxicants and procarcinogens to their ultimate forms.
