Application of point counting method in the study of maize (Zea mays L.) leaf chloroplast development

Abstrakt

The leaves of maize have two photosynthesizing tissues with two types of chloroplasts. The development of chloroplasts in vascular bundle sheaths cells was followed by transmission electron microscopy and point counting method in third level.
