Abstract
The book is devoted to the mathematics in Europa from the 6th century to the 10th century. The author translates three medieval mathematical collections (Alcuin of York, Metrodoros, Abu Kamil).
The exercices are translated into Czech language, they are complemented by analysis, historical commentaries and bibliographical notes. The short overview of so called "Pseudo-Beda's collection" De arithmeticis propositionibus" is added also.
