Searching for relationship between film and art education

Abstract

Example art education lessons working with film and moving images. Lessons were based on the French movie Amelie and on the way how the director manipulates with images and their meanings.

Students used animation technique to interpret old paitings by adding movement to them. This kind of art education reveals valuable experience and many important questions about the relation between moving image and static image, narrative and meaning for further art education research.
