Abstract
Educational Encyclopaedia (PEN) is the first collected encyclopaedia in the area of education after more than 60 years. Representative work of current Czech science provides systematic review of basic components of educational system and introduces knowledge about information on ways of education and its products, about population of pupils, students and teachers etc.
It explains current problems of actual problems of educational system and deals with educational science, research and their connection with practice.
