National testing at the end of lower and upper secondary education: perception of current educational policy issue

Abstract

Testing of students and state leaving examinations have been discussed in the CR since 90s of the 20th century but not realized yet for political hesitation and non-consencual policy of parties. The study is based on the research of public meaning from the year 2008.

Public and parental meaning is similar: attitudes to both of the topics in public is divided into two similar groups of defenders and opponents. Possitive expectations toward the new leaving examinations express more than two thirds of respondents.
